Lunch Organization
Our comprehensive school is a full-time school with mandatory attendance. This means that students are at school all day for at least three days a week. This offers them the opportunity to truly experience community. Especially during free periods, there are many opportunities for joint activities. The shared meals play a particularly important social role.
The city of Fridingen has found a new provider for lunch in the cafeteria with APETITO since the school year. Starting from the 2024/2025 school year, this provider will supply our cafeteria. The ordering of meals is handled through an app or online, and more information can be found in the attached information sheet (only available in German):
The usual school hygiene rules also apply in the cafeteria.
As before, we will offer two different meals to choose from each day. Also, as accustomed, the meals will not be served as "complete plates" but will continue to be served by our staff member Ms. Joswig from the known Bain-Maries (warming containers).
After years without price adjustments, the city council has set the price for school meals at €4.50 starting from the new school year. Although this price is far from covering the costs, the city of Fridingen wants to ensure that all students can have healthy and varied meals.
